Privacy
This page is about the website. Your dental records are covered by the practice's HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which the office gives you directly.
This website never collects health information
There is no health-history form here, no box asking you to describe your symptoms, and no chat transcript kept anywhere. That is deliberate. A dental website is not a safe place to put medical detail, so we built it so you cannot.
What the appointment request collects
Only these fields, and nothing else:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, which is optional
- Which office you would like to visit
- The type of visit, chosen from a fixed list — never free text
- Which days and time windows suit you
- Your language preference, and whether it is OK to text you
That request is sent to the practice by our hosting provider, Netlify, and is emailed to the office. It is used to call you back and schedule a visit, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
Why there is no cookie banner
Because this site sets no non-essential cookies. There are no advertising pixels, no social trackers, no remarketing tags and no third-party chat widget.
We use Google Analytics 4 (property G-9WXQQDNVXQ) to count page views and see which pages people find useful. IP addresses are anonymised. It tells us that a page was read; it does not tell us who read it.
Two things are stored in your own browser and never sent to us: which office you selected, and whether you have dismissed the "which office is closer to you" card. Clearing your browser data removes both.
Things that load from elsewhere
- Google Maps, but only after you click "Show the map". Until you do, no map frame is loaded and Google is not contacted.
- Fonts are served from this website itself, not from a font provider, so no request leaves your browser for them.
Email is not secure
Please do not send medical details to LBfamilydentalDG@gmail.com. Ordinary email is not an encrypted channel. Call the office instead and we will talk it through properly.
Questions, or want your request deleted?
Call either office and ask. We will find the request and remove it.
