All-on-4® Implants
A full arch of fixed teeth carried on four implants, so nothing comes out at night.
All-on-4 replaces every tooth in an upper or lower jaw with a fixed bridge held by four implants. The two at the back are angled deliberately, which lets them find and use the denser bone at the front of the jaw — often avoiding the grafting that would otherwise be needed at the back.
The point of it, for most people, is that nothing comes out. You do not take it out at night, there is no adhesive, and the roof of your mouth stays uncovered in an upper arch, which matters more for taste and speech than people expect.
It is a significant treatment with a significant cost, and it usually begins with removing whatever teeth remain in that jaw. That is a hard conversation and we do not rush it. Anyone who tells you this is simple is selling.

Is this right for me?
- You are missing most or all of the teeth in one jaw, or the remaining ones cannot be saved.
- A removable denture has not worked for you, or you do not want one.
- You are well enough for a longer surgical appointment and can attend the follow-ups.
What to expect
A full assessment
3D imaging, a health history review and a frank conversation about alternatives — including whether some of your own teeth can still be kept.
Surgery day
Remaining teeth are removed, four implants are placed, and a fixed temporary bridge goes on so you do not leave without teeth.
Soft diet while it integrates
Several months of eating carefully while the bone grips the implants. This part is not optional — loading them too early is the main way this fails.
The final bridge
Once integrated, the temporary is replaced with the final bridge, made in stronger materials and finished to the shape and shade you approved.
Ongoing care
Regular hygiene visits to clean underneath the bridge, which you cannot fully reach at home. Skipping these is what costs people their implants years later.
Your comfort
This is the longest appointment we schedule, and we plan it that way — with breaks, and with someone to drive you home. Swelling and bruising for several days afterwards are normal and expected; we tell you what normal looks like so you know when to call.

Questions patients ask
Do I leave with teeth the same day?
In most cases yes — a fixed temporary bridge goes on at the surgical visit. It is deliberately lighter than the final one and needs a soft diet while everything heals.
Is it really just four implants?
Four is the concept, and it works because of how the back two are angled. Some jaws need five or six for a result we are confident in, and we will tell you which yours is after the imaging rather than promising a number first.
How does it compare to a denture?
It costs considerably more and involves surgery. In exchange it does not move, needs no adhesive, does not cover the palate, and lets most people eat a much wider range of food. Whether that trade is worth it is genuinely your call.
How do I clean it?
Brushing, plus a water flosser or superfloss underneath the bridge every day. It is a different routine from natural teeth and we teach it properly rather than handing you a leaflet.
What does it cost?
It is one of the larger treatments in dentistry and the figure depends on your imaging, whether grafting is needed and the final materials. We put the whole thing in writing, stage by stage, and go through CareCredit, Cherry and Sunbit before you decide.
